This program allowed me to get to know new people, culture, cuisine and make a lot of new friends!

Explore some cities at Poland, And the most important, being educated in a superior highly and competitive education environment.
I also loved my stay at Kalisz, calm and welcoming city.
I have a lot to remember from my mobility academic at Kalisz.
I also encourage all of you to get to know Poland and visit Kalisz!

I want to express my gratitude to the Erasmus+ Program, Uniwersytet Kaliski, and Eduardo Mondlane University for their support during my mobility experience in Kalisz.

This opportunity allowed me to explore a new corner of the world, encounter different cultures, cuisines, and ways of life, and broaden my academic horizons. The city of Kalisz is welcoming and charming, and I felt embraced by the community. It’s an ideal place for students to get to know Greater Poland as they explore other parts of the country.

I highly encourage others to take part in this mobility program. My experience was truly unforgettable.

As a second-year student who studied in Kalisz, Poland, my experience was both exciting and transformative. This charming city in the heart of Greater Poland offered me a unique blend of academic rigor and cultural discovery.

From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by Kalisz’s rich history and welcoming atmosphere. The small-town vibe made it easy to feel at home, and I quickly formed friendships with both local students and international peers.

The professors were incredibly passionate and encouraged us to think critically and engage deeply with our subjects, which was both challenging and rewarding.

Weekends often found me taking trips to nearby cities or enjoying the serene countryside, which provided a perfect escape from my studies. My time in Kalisz was an amazing journey of personal and academic growth, and I’m grateful for every moment.

Beautiful city, beautiful people and everything else made my Kalisz journey an unforgettable one!

At University of Kalisz I learned about important ways to protect people from various disasters. Another interesting topic has to do with how to structure a work team.

For me, these ideas help me to develop my sense of humanity. The English language was another very special thing, here I developed more skills in speaking English and in this way I was able to make more friends with people from other countries. That is why I have said that I recommend that students have the experience of getting to know Kalisz.

University of Kalisz has wonderful and friendly people, hard workers and they create a good environment to live in. That is why I have also said that this mobility for me was a very special moment in my life, and if I had another opportunity I would go back to that university.

Therefore, it is worth remembering that a good choice produces good results and, for me, choosing to study in Kalisz was the best choice. I learned about peace, love and being a citizen of the world.

I’m Çağla. Being an Erasmus+ student was the best experience I’ve ever had in my life. Even though we had some difficulties during this period (such as accommodation), I had hundreds of good memories.

It was quite interesting to experience a new culture and a new language in a city I had never known.

I had the opportunity to see many European cities and I returned to my country as a different person in many aspects. I’m grateful to be a part of this program.

Kalisz is a small town, and I am from Istanbul, one of the most crowded cities in the world. Everything, from the classes to the streets and cafes, was always so crowded in Istanbul. However, during my first week in Kalisz, I was struck by how empty the town felt. After 1-2 months, I grew to love the calmness. This was my first time living alone, as I had always lived with my family before, and I’m glad it started in Kalisz.

I enjoyed the cities in Poland and their historic landmarks. I would recommend starting with Wroclaw. I also loved Krakow, a well-preserved medieval city that has everything a city needs: history, population, entertainment, and transport. During my time there, I met many new people, including Carmen, who is the sweetest person ever. The teachers were really nice. Our Neurosurgery professor took us to an autopsy. My only regret is that I did not see any snow at all. I kind of wish I came in winter. I had a great time and I look forward to telling my friends about!

I was the only Master’s Physical Therapy student in my Erasmus+ Batch. The experience was everything I had heard about and more. The teachers were all cooperative and amazing. I really appreciate Mr. Łukasz Szymczak because he gave me the chance to visit his clinic and gain practical experience under his supervision.   I didn’t know whom to ask at first and only approached Mr. Szymczak in the last three days before my departure. Though it was just for three days, it was the most productive and enriching experience of my time there.

I’m happy Mr. Szymczak provided this opportunity, and I strongly recommend that future students who are passionate about clinical experience actively seek or ask teachers for similar opportunities during their mobility in their spare time.

I would also suggest incorporating a few clinical practice classes, perhaps at Kalisz’s own hospital if possible, to benefit physical therapy students even more. Erasmus and my time in Kalisz allowed me to visit six different countries and explore so much. I felt so much freer and more independent during my Erasmus, which boosted my confidence even more. I am truly grateful for the experience and the opportunities it brought.

Hello My name is Zeynep, I am 22 years old and I am from Türkiye.

Reflecting on my time in Kalisz, I can confidently say it was a period filled with both challenges and remarkable experiences. Despite facing significant difficulties with accommodation, the overall journey was enriching and transformative.

As a physiotherapy student, I had the opportunity to engage in both theoretical and practical lessons, The faculty at the Department of Physiotherapy were incredibly supportive and emphasized the importance of practical, hands-on experience. Their guidance and expertise greatly enhanced my understanding of the field, making my academic journey in Kalisz a rewarding one.

One of the most fulfilling aspects of my Erasmus experience was the friendships I formed and the cultural exchange that took place. Meeting new people from different backgrounds and sharing our stories enriched my perspective and created lifelong memories. Kalisz, with its small-town charm and beautiful natural surroundings, provided the perfect backdrop for these connections to flourish. The town’s serene environment, coupled with its vibrant local culture, made my stay enjoyable and memorable.

The Erasmus+ program also provided me with the incredible opportunity to travel and explore Europe. I visited nine different countries, each offering unique experiences and insights. The experience of discovering new places, learning about different cultures, and immersing myself in various traditions was truly eye-opening and appreciation of the diverse world we live in.

While my Erasmus+ experience in Kalisz started with unforeseen challenges, it ultimately became a period of significant collection of memories. The friendships I formed, and the beauty of Kalisz itself made this journey an unforgettable chapter in my life. Many many Loves from Türkiye.
