I am delighted to have had the opportunity to participate in the Erasmus+ program, as it has been an extraordinary experience that has enriched my academic and personal growth. Throughout my time in the program, I was exposed to various practical learning opportunities that have enhanced my understanding of management principles.

One of the highlights was the utilization of the Business Simulation game during our management classes. This hands-on approach allowed me to gain practical insight into of managing a business. Through this simulation, I learned how to devise effective strategies that align with the company’s objectives, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in achieving success.

The finance, entrepreneurship, and marketing classes were equally insightful. They provided me with valuable knowledge in financial management, enabling me to comprehend the importance of prudent financial decision-making. Additionally, I learned about various marketing strategies and conducted thorough market research, which is crucial for gaining a competitive advantage and reaching target audiences effectively.

The Erasmus+ program not only contributed to my academic development but also facilitated cultural exchange and international connections. It was a privilege to interact with students from different countries, fostering a global perspective and promoting cross-cultural understanding.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Calisz University, particularly to  Ms. Monika Napadlek, who consistently provided guidance and support throughout our Erasmus+ journey. Her dedication and willingness to address any challenges we encountered were truly invaluable.

Hello. I’m Kleiton from Mozambique. I’m very happy to have the opportunity to study at Calisia University-Kalisz, Poland as an Erasmus+ student. Embarking on the Erasmus program was a decision that forever changed my life. It was a remarkable adventure filled with boundless happiness.

From the very beginning, Erasmus+ experience brought me immense joy. The excitement of stepping out of my comfort zone, leaving behind familiar surroundings, and immersing myself in a new culture was exhilarating. The anticipation of the unknown created a sense of wonder that accompanied me throughout the entire journey.

One of the most incredible aspects of Erasmus+ program was the opportunity to meet people from diverse cultures and backgrounds. These connections went beyond friendships; they became a part of my extended global family and the memories I made with my fellow Erasmus+ participants will forever hold a special place in my heart.

And to end my summary of mobility I would like to thank the Calisia University-Kalisz, Poland for this opportunity, the coordinators and teachers.

Kalisz may seem as an old city but it has a lot to offer. During my mobility there under Erasmus+ program I had the chance to explore Kalisz in details and I was impressed.

It had many cultural places, many things that you don’t normally see in other cities. The professors were very kind and professional. I had a great time studying there. The people in Kalisz are very kind and they would help me with everything. During the mobility I had the chance to meet a lot of new people of different nationalities and it was amazing. I tried food from different cultures.

Polish language was a little bit hard until I learned a few phrases that would help me a lot in everyday situations.

Overall I would say that it was worth coming to Kalisz as an exchange student and I hope I can visit it again in the future!

My name is Olisa. I am a 3d year midwifery student from Vlora University in Albania.

I got the chance to join a semester at Calisia University – Kalisz, Poland.

My experience in Kalisz has been great. I have had a great time here at school where the teachers were really welcoming .

The university has all the conditions that a student must be provided to make the learning experience great . Another great opportunity is going out, making new friends, seeing new places and overall learning more about Polish people and their culture.

I have also visited other cities except Kalisz where I have seen old buildings, big squares, great museums, places filled with students, concerts and great food, always with some activity going on . The student life here is really one of the best. You will always find something to do.

I am very happy I lived every day of this experience to the fullest.

I think everyone should be an Erasmus student at least once in their life! This experience gave me the opportunity to travel, study, and learn so much more than any school or university can offer in some aspects. I have learned so much about myself and others during my stay in Europe in general, because in every place you go, you will find different people with different personalities and attitudes. For me, every place that I went to was a unique experience. I am always eager to see and learn more about other countries, cultures, languages, and of course, people. And that’s what I did! During my stay I exchanged languages, food, and culture with other polish and international people.

Living in a peaceful and quiet place like Kalisz may not seem like the best place for a student, but on the other hand, it was part of the experience for me, plus to the fact that after all the hectic traveling, I needed some break! Another thing is, no matter where you live in the world, people around you are what make an experience better! I was able to visit my other Erasmus+ friends in Romania, Italy, Sweden, and Turkey. And let me tell you that each one of us had a different experience and they’re all amazing!

By Being part of the Erasmus +  program in Kalisz, I develop various skills and abilities. An experience of this type helps me to get to know myself better and to realize my strengths and weaknesses, as well as to learn how to overcome and overcome some obstacles, in other words, it promotes self-knowledge.

I also increased my network of contacts, as we have the opportunity to meet several people, coming from different parts of the world, which can provide us with immense advantages, both personally and professionally.

An experience of this type in my CV can somehow make me stand out among several candidates for a certain position in the job market, from the moment that several specialists in recruitment consider this to be a crucial experience for those who want to make a difference in the job market, not only for the knowledge acquired, but also that those who do Erasmus + are seen as someone with an “open mind”. Embarking on this program certainly makes me interesting, more tolerant, more multifaceted and triggered, as the relationships and interactions created help me to relativize some problems.
