By Being part of the Erasmus +  program in Kalisz, I develop various skills and abilities. An experience of this type helps me to get to know myself better and to realize my strengths and weaknesses, as well as to learn how to overcome and overcome some obstacles, in other words, it promotes self-knowledge.

I also increased my network of contacts, as we have the opportunity to meet several people, coming from different parts of the world, which can provide us with immense advantages, both personally and professionally.

An experience of this type in my CV can somehow make me stand out among several candidates for a certain position in the job market, from the moment that several specialists in recruitment consider this to be a crucial experience for those who want to make a difference in the job market, not only for the knowledge acquired, but also that those who do Erasmus + are seen as someone with an “open mind”. Embarking on this program certainly makes me interesting, more tolerant, more multifaceted and triggered, as the relationships and interactions created help me to relativize some problems.

My name is Nércia, I am from Mozambique and had been participating on Erasmus+ mobility program in Kalisz, Poland.

It was my first time abroad, so I met new people from different countries and  got in touch with different cultures. I learned so much from them and, of course, they also learned something about my country.

During there time a have experienced different learning contents, different learning and teaching practices, I have developed new skills and improved my foreign language.

I am very satisfied with Erasmus+ mobility experience in general, I would do it again, so I do recommend this experience to another student.

After the mobility program I feel more confident in an intercultural setting and more able to cooperate with people from other backgrounds and cultures, to interact with different social groups, to adapt to and act in new situations and work better in a team.

Hello everyone, my name is Arcenio from Mozambique, and I am extremely happy to have participated in Erasmus+ program. This program has completely changed my life. The contact I had with people from different cultures and countries made me more tolerant, increased my self-confidence, expanded my network of friendships, and made me realize that as human beings, we should forget our differences and focus on what threatens us, such as climate change.

I would like to take this opportunity to emphasize that I have learned a lot at  Akademia Kaliska, both as a student and as a person, and I will certainly capitalize on that. Thank you very much.

Hello, my name is Ana and I am a 3rd year student in midwifery nursing department at University “Ismail Qemali” Vlore in Albania.

I got the chance to experience Erasmus+ programme at Calisia University – Kalisz, Poland. From the snowy days in February till the sunny days in June I have had a great time here. Everyone was really welcoming, the teachers were great and really well-prepared, the school environment was perfect for studying.

It had all the conditions needed.

The University organised different activities such as parties, dance classes etc.

I got the chance to visit some cities nearby and see some really beautiful places, try Polish food and learn more about Polish culture. It was a great experience and I would definitely recommend it to other students. Hope to revisit this place in the future.

Thank you for everything.

Hello, I am Irida, a nursing student from University “Ismail Qemali” Vlore in Albania.

Erasmus+ programme gave me the opportunity to take part in this fantastic experience, a chance not to think twice when thinking of the beautiful city of Kalisz. Kalisz is a small town with an active population and inexhaustible wonders which I have experienced for 5 unforgettable months. Comparing it with the conditions of the city where I come from, the university here is one of the strongest points of this city.

The educational facilities and labs are fantastic. I wouldn’t regret it if I chose the same place twice. It’s worth it!

Participating in Erasmus+ Program was the best decision I have ever made.

Going to another country, visiting new cities, meeting new people, getting to know new cultures
and spending almost 5 months in Poland was an amazing experience that I will never forget.
I would like to thank everyone that helped me since the beginning of this journey,
because it is hard being in a new country away from your family and friends, but when
you have such amazing people always behind you and helping you in every way, then the
journey will become unforgettable.

Thank you so much to everyone for this lovely experience and I really hope to see you all again.

Enes - Erasmus - 1

Hi everyone!

I’m Enes from İstanbul Turkey. I did Erasmus+ traineeships in the International Relations Office at Calisia University-Kalisz, Poland.

Before I came here, I hadn’t known much about Kalisz. I learned that it is the oldest city in Poland. This was very interesting to me. Kalisz is located close to other cities such as Wroclaw, Poznan and Lodz. I wanted to do some traineeships in Kalisz and at this University so much. The recruitment process was very quick. I was so happy to be accepted and I was very excited to come to Kalisz.

I arrived in Kalisz in October. During my traineeships in the International Relations Office, I was responsible for arranging some events for Erasmus+ students and updating the University website. It was very enjoyable. I also met a Rector from Georgia and some lecturers from different countries. Of course, a big thank you to Monika and Ewa who were very kind and helpful all the time. I would also like to thank the Vice-Rector, Prof. Tatiana Manasterska. During my Erasmus+ period in Poland, I visities some Polish cities: Wroclaw, Poznan, Lodz, and I met students from different countries.

When I look back, I am very glad to have done some traineeships in Kalisz.

Hej,

I’m Meryem, I’m happy to share my experience with Calisia University with you. First of all, my adventure in Kalisz-Poland, which started with the 2021-2022 fall semester Erasmus+ Learning mobility, then continued with the opportunity to do an internship at the International Relations Office in the 2021-2022 summer semester.

It is not possible for me to forget the help and care given to the lessons by my professors during my education at the university, but I would like to state that I will never forget the friendships I have made during my learning mobility. They became my family in Kalisz, and they still are…

I am sure that you will have incredible experiences with Erasmus+ Study Mobility. I had the opportunity to visit many European countries and especially many cities in Poland. I had the chance to participate in many cultural events and made many foreign friends.

Erasmus+ Internship mobility allowed me to see more cultural aspects of Poland. Also, I learned a lot of historical stories about Kalisz that I didn’t know. I did not neglect to taste Polish dishes that I had not tasted before, and I had the opportunity to visit cities and important centers that I had not seen before.

When I think about all this, I would like to thank Calisia University for everything it has given me during the 8-month period I spent, and Monika, who mentored me during my internship.

May the best of everything be with you. Hope to see you again…

Hello, I’m Bahri my friends call me Bahri Busch, or my Polish friends call me ‘Jesus’ because of my hair. I went abroad for the first time under Erasmus+ programme. In this case, I studied in Kalisz for one semester. Kalisz is like a small town and I always referred to it as my hometown. While studying, I usually travelled to the big cities of Poland and different countries in Europe. I made excellent friendships from different cultures. Also, Mr. Erwin and Mrs. Napadlek Greetings. You are the best teachers I have ever seen in my life.
