Participating in an Erasmus exchange program, at University of Kalisz in Poland, specialization – business administration has offered several significant benefits to all the students including me:

1.     Networking Opportunities: as I have built a global network of contacts, including fellow students, professors, and industry professionals. These connections can be valuable for future collaborations or advancing career opportunities.

2.     Enhanced Language Skills: Living and studying in a foreign country has improved my language proficiency, which is beneficial for my future career perspectives.

3.     Academic Growth: Diverse teaching methods and curriculum is crucial to enrich student’s academic experience, as I have learnt via new approaches and techniques that aren’t typically covered in my home institution.

4.     Personal Development: Living abroad without my family challenges students to adapt to new situations, become more independent, and develop resilience. In my case, I actually feel that it was a major step forward to develop myself as an independent person, who can adapt to an absolutely new environment without any obstacles and find “own” place in a new, multi-cultural society.

5.     Cross-cultural Leadership Skills: Managing and collaborating with individuals from diverse backgrounds enhances your ability to lead cross-cultural teams effectively, a critical skill in multinational corporations.

6.     Personal Connections and Friendships: Beyond professional benefits, exchange programs often lead to lifelong friendships with peers from around the world, enriching your personal life as well.

7.     International Job Opportunities: Employers increasingly value candidates with international experience. Completing an exchange program can open doors to job opportunities abroad or with multinational companies seeking globally-minded talent.

Overall, participating in Erasmus+ exchange program can be a transformative experience that equips you with valuable skills and perspectives essential for success in today’s highly-competitive environment.

I would like to express my honest gratitude towards all the lecturers and professors, who have been maximizing all their opportunities to be friendly and collaborative towards us all these months, as well as teaching us with great enthusiasm and motivation.
