My name is Ahmad, I am 27 years old from Jordan , and I specialize in Physiotherapy.

I came to Poland, specifically to the city of Kalisz, to spend one academic semester. Upon arriving in Kalisz, I immediately noticed the contrast between the nature here and that of my home country. The vast plains, forests, and rivers, as well as the abundance of water, were particularly striking. I also observed clear differences in customs, traditions, culture, language, and climate compared to Jordan.

As the semester began, I joined additional classes such as Biomechanics and Therapeutic Exercises alongside local Polish students. During this period, I traveled several times with Dr. Artur, visiting a number of Polish cities, including Poznań, Wrocław, Kraków, and Warsaw. I also had the opportunity to attend a medical–legal court session with him. Although the proceedings were conducted in Polish, I could clearly observe the facial expressions of those present and the deep respect shown toward the judges. It is also worth mentioning the anatomy and autopsy sessions involving bodies of different age groups, which were a new and enriching experience that greatly expanded my knowledge.

Meanwhile, we gradually witnessed the arrival of winter. Afterward, a holiday break of a little more than two weeks began. During this break, I traveled to Germany, and from there I decided to explore southern Europe. I rented a caravan and started my journey from Germany to France, where I experienced its historic villages, countryside, and plateaus. The natural landscapes were breathtaking, and I noticed the gradual change in daylight hours, as the days seemed to grow longer.

I then continued my journey to Spain, heading toward the Mediterranean Sea, specifically to Valencia, where I spent most of my time.

I became familiar with local traditions, traditional cuisine, and the surrounding villages of Valencia, where people used to travel by wooden boats between pine trees, and where roads had not been built until about fifty years ago. I also experienced swimming in the Mediterranean Sea, enjoying its soft sand and clear waters.

Eventually, I returned to Kalisz to prepare and submit the final projects for my courses, as the academic system here relies heavily on project-based learning, practical activities, and also includes some theoretical examinations.

My experience was not easy, but it was extremely valuable. I learned a great deal, developed myself and my abilities, and discovered aspects of my personality that I had not known before. Through this journey, I gained new knowledge and experiences and met many people who enriched my personal and academic life.
