Kalisz was for me a unique experience. I got to see lots of cool sites, different people, and styles. Clear blue skies and green parks were the signature of the city. At first, it was a struggle to adapt to the new environment and new faces, but being together in one place allowed us to know each other better and become friends. Spending time with both Polish and Erasmus+ students gave me a glimpse of different cultures, perspectives, and generally different lives.
The lectures were great and I got to learn a lot from the professors both academically and socially.

Kalisz may seem as an old city but it has a lot to offer. During my mobility there under Erasmus+ program I had the chance to explore Kalisz in details and I was impressed.

The people in Kalisz are very kind and they would help me with everything. During the mobility I had the chance to meet a lot of new people of different nationalities and it was amazing. I tried food from different cultures.
Polish language was a little bit hard until I learned a few phrases that would help me a lot in everyday situations.

My name is Olisa. I am a 3d year midwifery student from Vlora University in Albania.
I got the chance to join a semester at Calisia University – Kalisz, Poland.
My experience in Kalisz has been great. I have had a great time here at school where the teachers were really welcoming .
The university has all the conditions that a student must be provided to make the learning experience great . Another great opportunity is going out, making new friends, seeing new places and overall learning more about Polish people and their culture.
I have also visited other cities except Kalisz where I have seen old buildings, big squares, great museums, places filled with students, concerts and great food, always with some activity going on . The student life here is really one of the best. You will always find something to do.
I am very happy I lived every day of this experience to the fullest.
I think everyone should be an Erasmus student at least once in their life! This experience gave me the opportunity to travel, study, and learn so much more than any school or university can offer in some aspects. I have learned so much about myself and others during my stay in Europe in general, because in every place you go, you will find different people with different personalities and attitudes. For me, every place that I went to was a unique experience. I am always eager to see and learn more about other countries, cultures, languages, and of course, people. And that’s what I did! During my stay I exchanged languages, food, and culture with other polish and international people.
Living in a peaceful and quiet place like Kalisz may not seem like the best place for a student, but on the other hand, it was part of the experience for me, plus to the fact that after all the hectic traveling, I needed some break! Another thing is, no matter where you live in the world, people around you are what make an experience better! I was able to visit my other Erasmus+ friends in Romania, Italy, Sweden, and Turkey. And let me tell you that each one of us had a different experience and they’re all amazing!
