4th Calisia World Conference on Family Health will be a unique platform for discussion, exchange of experiences and familiarization with the current state of knowledge about public health threats. Numerous research and development works will be discussed in the area of epidemiology of alcohol-related diseases in Poland after 2000, excess mortality due to coronavirus, as well as public health challenges related to the growing level of use of modern nicotine products. A separate discussion panel will be devoted to various aspects of modern medical education. The conference will be attended by outstanding Polish and foreign scientists, including: representatives of leading universities from the United States, Great Britain and Italy.
The inauguration of 4th Calisia World Conference on Family Health will take place on October 7, 2024 and will be combined with the inauguration of the Academic Year 2024/2025 at University of Kalisz and the awarding of an honorary doctorate to Professor Witold A. Zatoński. The next two days of the meeting (October 8, 2024 and October 9, 2024) will take place at the Collegium Medicum, University of Kalisz.
The conference has been financed by the state budget within the “Doskonała Nauka” programme, module “Wsparcie konferencji naukowych” of the Ministry of Education and Science.
